Christ Church, Taney Grounds
Many remark upon the beauty of the grounds of Christ Church, 
Taney. Planted in mid- 19th century, we have inherited a treasure of stately mature trees, woodland and lawn. The onus is on all of us to preserve what we have been given so that enjoyment will not only be ours but something we pass on to a younger generation.
Some years ago, the Select Vestry commissioned a survey of the trees at Taney and valuable conservation work helped secure many of the trees for the future. Please help by continuing to care for our grounds, to guard against vandalism or neglect. National Tree Week focussed our thoughts and actions on care of our environment.
Let us protect and appreciate the parkland at Taney.
