Taney Helping Hands
The helping hands desk helps coordinate the care group activities, parish archives and offers to parishioners and visitors to Taney Parish Centre the warmest of welcomes. Should you require use of the wheelchair lift in the Parish Centre, Helping Hands will be glad to assist.
Please feel free to call us if there is anyone you feel who should be included on the list for our Care Group. We are also looking at all the old photo’s we have saved over the years and try and put them into albums so that they can be available to be enjoyed by all. If you are someone who enjoys photo’s and would like to help us with this project please let us know.
The Helping Hands are also responsible for organising readers each week for the Parish service, we are always happy to welcome new members and usually you only read about 3 times a year. We are also responsible for people to count the money on a Sunday morning and again we are always happy to have new people on board.
We would like to mention that Dundrum Citizen Information service have dropped us in some information booklets notably “Entitlements for the over sixties” so please ask at the desk for a copy if you know someone who might be interested.
